Kami is a series of wooden tableware made by master woodworker Takahashi Kougei from Hokkaido, Japan. Each of the pieces in the collection is handcrafted from Castor Aralia trees using highly sophisticated woodturning techniques passed down for generations. The name Kami, means “paper” in Japanese in reference to the thin wall thickness and white tone of the wood.
